News on ComputerPsych LLC, usability, neuroscience, psychology and technology
Part of my work in human-computer interaction at ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) has dealt with power grid visualization. This application, the Macomber Map (named in memory of my friend and mentor Gary Macomber), was recently discussed in an article in ClimateWire/NY Times. Please forgive the long delay in the ComputerPsych.com upgrade. We’ve switched ISPs, and are trying to migrate the website and its various facets and scripts into a more standard format, so that we can spend more time researching and developing new software!
Please look for a completed new design for ComputerPsych, estimated to be done mid-June 2009, along with new versions of the Image Analysis Toolkit and NormDist!
